Campaign links: give your AMA or launch a DropAsecret link of its own

With Creator Pro, you can make extra links under your name, each with its own prompt, and see their messages on their own. Here's how to set one up, what visitors see, and ideas for using them.

The words "A link for every launch" next to the DropAsecret app icon, with the DropAsecret inbox on a phone

Your DropAsecret link is for everything people want to tell you. But sometimes you want a link for one thing only: questions for a launch, an AMA after a new song, feedback after an event. That's what campaign links are for.

What a campaign link is

A campaign is an extra link under your name, with its own prompt. It's your link with a short name on the end, like dropasecret.com/yourname?c=launch-ama.

Messages sent through it land in your usual inbox, marked with the campaign, so you can see them together. Your main link keeps working as normal.

Make one

Open Settings, then Link, and find Campaigns. Tap New campaign and fill in:

  • Name, like "Launch week AMA", up to 60 characters. Visitors see it at the top of the page.
  • Link, the part after ?c=, like "launch-ama": 3 to 30 letters, numbers and dashes.
  • Mode, the kind of message you're asking for. It starts on Ask me anything; here are all the modes.
  • Prompt, the question people see, up to 140 characters. It starts as the mode's prompt, so change it to something about your campaign.

Tap Create campaign, then Copy link, and share it wherever the campaign is happening. You can have up to 20.

What visitors see

A campaign page is about one thing: the campaign's name, its prompt and the message box. There's no mode picker and no Drop on it, even if your main link has them. Senders stay anonymous, exactly as on your main link.

Seeing the messages

Each campaign gets its own filter at the top of your inbox, next to All and Unread. Tap it to see only that campaign's messages.

In Settings, each campaign shows how many messages it has had, with See messages, Copy link, End and Delete. That count is the campaign's own; Stats show your link as a whole.

When it's over

Tap End. Visitors then see "This campaign has ended.", with a button to message you on your main link instead. Changed your mind? Tap Reopen.

Delete removes the campaign's link, but its messages stay in your inbox.

Ideas

  • An AMA for a launch, a new song, a video or a podcast episode
  • Questions before a live, so you have them ready when you go live
  • Feedback after an event, a class or a workshop
  • One link per platform, like a campaign for your Instagram bio and another for X, to see where your messages come from

Who gets it

Campaign links come with Creator Pro. If your Creator Pro ends, campaign links stop taking messages, and they work again when you renew.

Want your main link to ask something different for a while instead? A Drop puts one question on it until a countdown ends.
